About Us

The STREAM project was designed and submitted to the call for proposals issued by the European Union’s EACEA, under the Erasmus+ Forward Looking Projects, Priority 4 – Micro-credentials for employability. STREAM has the ambition to contribute to the aims of the call through the systematic design, testing, and uptake of an innovative and novel Micro-credential Framework to operate within the framework of Work-Based Learning (WBL) and the Internationalisation of VET through Mobilities in Europe’s VET system. STREAM addresses all areas of interest of the FLP Priority 4 call:

🎓 Micro-credentials for a more inclusive labour market

🌿 Micro-credentials for a green transition

🔗 Portability of micro-credentials

The STREAM Consortium

The STREAM consortium is rooted in the Eduwork.Net network of VET networks and trade associations, with many thousands of member organisations and many thousands more VET staff involved in Work-Based Learning (WBL). It has produced, over the last few years, many experiences, research, dialogue, and agreements to enhance the effectiveness and quality of WBL experiences, nationally and at the European level.

It has established continuous dialogue and feedback loops to trace and consistently improve these experiences, focusing on the liaisons between VET, companies, and trade associations. This includes improving the quality of offers and linkages between VET and the labour market, fostering the internationalisation of VET, and building capacity at the grassroots level for the effective implementation of national and European policies of WBL, apprenticeship, and dual systems.
